The two government ministers used the delay to pop into the ladies' washroom to brush their hair.
"You wanted the train to leave on time, didn't you, Vera?" said Millie. "It hasn't exactly worked out, has it?"
The minister of transportation shoved her away from the mirror. "You don't mind me brushing my hair as well, do you?" she said.
"You know what I think? I think you're glad the train has been delayed." The minister for the environment pushed Vera to one side and started washing her hands.
"I even have my suspicions," said Vera, "that you had something to do with those hedgehogs. Maybe you put them under the train yourself." Millie splashed a handful of water over Vera's perfect hair-do. Vera turned the tap on full blast and splattered water all over Millie.
