The Frozen Ladies

There was once a hairdresser who had Mondays off and spent them visiting the local attractions. He had already been to the museum and the exhibition center and the echoing well, and then he couldn't think of anything else.
"Where can I go today?" he wondered on Monday morning. "I know, I could go to the cold store where they keep the frozen cod. It might not be a real attraction, but at least it's something." The cold store was a long way out of town and he drove there in his car. Inside the building it was chilly. Twenty women were busy packing pieces of cod and they were working so hard they didn't even notice him.
This isn't the freezer yet, thought the hairdresser. I have to go further into the building. He followed a few men who were carrying big boxes of fish. They were wearing thick padded coats and leather gloves, and they had woolly hats on their heads, and they needed them too, because inside the big freezer it was forty degrees below zero.
